Also, I've never seen a chain stay bridge like that on 70's or 80's Champion Mondials but I haven't seen all of them.

I've got the exact same frame here, different colour of course, frame number 3177616, and thats a 75. Its an AA frame, before Gazelle put that denomination on the left hand chainstay. In the mid 70s Gazelle had something going with Zeus parts, they offered (according to a mid-70s brochure) a completely Zeus fitted Champion Mondial bike, as an alternative to a Campagnolo/Universal equipped bike.

Interestingly the brochure also mentions that with the AA-frame, the rear triangle is made of Columbus tubing (not Reynolds).

Gazelle worked with straight-forward frame numbers until 1974, when some 3,2 million units were made.
